BEAUTY FAVOURITES - JANUARY 2026

We may be almost at the end of February, but it’s still not too late to deliver my January beauty favourites for you.

Honestly? Worth the wait.

2026 has already been such a busy year for me (in the best way), but it has meant the blog has taken a tiny back seat.

Fear not — we’re back, we’re in full swing, and there are some very juicy posts coming over the next few weeks. Keep your eyes peeled!

Now let’s get into the products that truly carried me through January…

Augustinus Bader – The Rich Cream

Unfortunately, and I really do mean unfortunately, this is insanely good.

There has been a lot of hype around this brand, and particularly this product. Like you, I thought… how good can it really be? For £250 (for 50ml!!) I was expecting miracles.

And honestly? I noticed a difference the very next morning. I woke up and my skin just looked… different.

Smoother. Plumper. More refined. The texture is unmatched - rich but somehow not heavy, and it leaves the most gorgeous glass-skin finish.

The hydration is next level and I genuinely feel like it accelerates repair.

Do your own research if you want to deep dive into the science, but everything I’ve tried from this brand has impressed me, and I’ve tried the majority of it now.

Painful for the bank account, incredible for the skin.

Morphe – Signature Lip Pencil

The formula has me in a chokehold.

Pigmented. Creamy. Smooth application. Long-wearing. And the shades? Elite.

Honourable shout-out to Brûlée and Sugar Pie. I need more shades immediately.

They glide on effortlessly, blend beautifully and don’t go crusty or dry throughout the day.

For the price point, they’re actually ridiculous.

Fenty Beauty – Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer (I$land Ting)

I don’t know what Miss Robyn Fenty put in this, but it is utter perfection.

It’s the most beautiful matte bronzer...blurring, buttery, blendable.

It glides on, it’s foolproof, there’s no patchiness, no fallout, no dryness, and it gives warmth without looking muddy.

I genuinely don’t see myself switching this out anytime soon unless something extraordinary comes along.

Primark – Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer

Yes. Primark.

This is widely known as a Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base dupe, and for £4 I still cannot quite believe how good it is compared to the £54 original.

It’s rich enough to prep the skin beautifully for make-up, but not greasy.

I’m combination/oily and it works perfectly for me, my base sits beautifully and lasts all day.

I’d say it suits most skin types, unless you’re extremely dry and need something heavier.

An absolute steal.

Hanskin – Pore Cleansing Oil BHA

Not necessarily a necessity… but I thoroughly enjoy it.

I use this Korean beauty gem mainly on exfoliation nights as part of my skin cycling routine (I have a full blog post here breaking that down if you want to read more).

It’s an effective make-up remover but also gives a gentle exfoliating boost thanks to the BHA.

The texture is thinner than most cleansing oils, which I love, and it doesn’t feel heavy or suffocating. It’s just a really satisfying step in my routine.

Ole Henriksen – Pout Preserve Lip Treatment (Vanilla Bonbon)

I am so late to this party.

As a self-proclaimed lip product junkie, I’m honestly embarrassed it took me this long.

One of the girls at work got this for me for Secret Santa and now I’m hooked.

The texture is pillowy and thick but not sticky, super hydrating, and as a vanilla girlie… the scent is everything.

It gives a subtle shine and the colour is pretty much clear/creamy, so it’s become my go-to for the gym or no-make-up days.

Dior – Addict Lip Glow Oil

Another product I’m late to...and it’s just stunning.

For a lip oil, it feels surprisingly cushiony and gives a high shine, which I love.

I have the pink shade, which is fairly sheer but gives a soft tint.

I wear it over a lip stain, with just liner, or completely bare.

I’ve been asked multiple times what I’m wearing when I have this on, which for me says everything.

The Ordinary – Multi-Peptide + HA Serum

A staple. A ride-or-die. Permanently in my professional kit.

I’ve tried other hydrating serums but I always come back to this.

I constantly educate my clients on the importance of skin prep - not just for how make-up looks, but how long it lasts.

The correct toner, hydrating serum and moisturiser is the foundation of a flawless base.

I would never skip this step, and I recommend this serum to almost every client when they’re recreating their glam at home.

Naturium – Barrier Bounce

This product makes me want to scream with excitement quite literally.

The texture is silky, almost milky-gel, and deeply hydrating.

It reminds me slightly of my beloved Tatcha Dewy Milk, but I use this both as a serum and a moisturiser.

If the cold weather is wreaking havoc on your skin, you’re using a strong retinal, or you just need serious hydration support...look no further.

It’s 10/10. No notes. And staying firmly in rotation.

Charlotte Tilbury – Airbrush Flawless Blur Concealer

This launch had me excited, and Charlotte did not disappoint.

It’s like the Hourglass concealer but less dry and less matte.

The texture is witchcraft: thin and lightweight but somehow full coverage.

It blurs beautifully and looks undetectable on the skin.

It’s incredible under the eyes but also perfect for spot concealing thanks to the clever pointed applicator.

I need to use it a little longer to completely solidify my final verdict, but paired with the Airbrush Flawless Foundation? Full glam secret weapon.

January was definitely the month of splurge and save, proving you can invest in luxury heroes while still mixing in affordable gems that deliver just as beautifully.

If you’ve tried any of these, let me know your thoughts!

And if there’s anything you think I need to try next, you know I’m easily influenced...
