BEAUTY FAVOURITES - JULY 2026

Updated: Oct 15

Summer is well underway and I’ve been trying and testing a plethora of products as usual...
I’ve found some real gems over the past month, and there are also a couple of old faithfuls in there, too!
My focus has naturally shifted to body care and keeping the skin on my body exfoliated, hydrated and glowing, as naturally my skin is on show a lot more during these months.
Sun protection has also been a big focus, because keeping our skin protected is one of the best things we can do to prevent unnecessary premature ageing!
Let's get into it...
P.S. Wherever possible, products that are underlined throughout this post are shoppable, so you can click straight through if you fancy grabbing anything.
If you're shopping on Look Fantastic, don't forget to use my code LFTFCHLOEMYKEL at checkout to save yourself a little £££ - you're welcome!

Now, this is an oldie but goodie and a product that just has SO many uses, so the versatility and value for money are honestly insane.
Use it on a cotton pad on your armpits and bikini line to help improve the appearance of dark skin from shaving, on your feet (especially those cracked heels!), knees and elbows for discolouration, or even on the scalp.
Obviously, it can also be used on the face to help refine skin texture, brighten the complexion and target the appearance of hyperpigmentation.
The large size is a godsend and this is a firm forever repurchase for me.
Okay, so the fact that this body wash is £1.79 is actually criminal.
It was a very off-the-cuff purchase as I’d never seen it before, but the fact that it contains AHAs immediately piqued my interest.
I really feel like it started to fade a lot of the post-breakout dark marks I had quite quickly after I started using it.
The AHA used is lactic acid, which is pretty gentle in the grand scheme of things, and it doesn’t feel stripping, so I’d say this would be a good option for more sensitive skin types too.
I love my Naturium body washes (particularly the Glycolic and Mandelic ones for that super clean feel), but they are notoriously fragrance-free and sometimes I do like a little more of a sensory experience in the shower.
This scent isn’t too overpowering either, and the texture is super silky and luxurious - especially for a super-budget product.
There’s another one of these, Avocado & Honey, and that one is gorgeous too, but a little less of a scent girlie moment.
Definitely worth a try if you’re in the market for a new body wash that won’t break the bank!
This is a product I have already repurchased and I literally cannot get enough.
I know I always say it, but those Koreans really know what they’re doing when it comes to skincare, and this product is no different.
Before trying this moisturiser, this brand was completely new to me, but I’d been seeing them pop up on my Instagram.
I decided to do a bit of a blind buy as part of my Amazon Prime Day Korean skincare haul (read the blog post here), as I hadn’t really seen anyone talk about it.
I’m SO glad I did because this moisturiser is truly amazing.
At first, I can’t lie, the artificial fragrance put me off.
I’m not used to my skincare having added fragrance, especially not Korean skincare.
However, the fragrance is fairly light and not too overpowering, plus now I love the product so much that I feel like I associate the smell with it and actually kind of like it now.
This cream is truly gorgeous and feels so luxurious to apply.
It’s not thick but not thin, and it feels both lightweight and deeply nourishing, which is so hard to explain.
It gives the skin the most gorgeous glow and helped keep my barrier feeling comfortable when I was experiencing a little Tretinoin purge.
I’ve been using it consistently as my daytime moisturiser underneath my SPF, and I always think the true test of a product is what happens when you run out.
I didn’t repurchase it straight away because I had other moisturisers to get through, but it wasn’t long before I just HAD to have it back in my life.
If you’re normal/combination skin and in the market for a gorgeous, sophisticated moisturiser with fantastic ingredients and loads of skin benefits, I genuinely cannot recommend this enough!
Another one from my Korean skincare haul, and another brand that is new on my radar.
I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoy this cleansing balm.
As I mentioned before, I am somewhat of a sensory girl when it comes to using products, and this formula is just a pleasure to use.
It effortlessly breaks down stubborn make-up and SPF, and it’s scent-free, so it’s a great option if you prefer fragrance-free skincare.
Comparing it to other similar products like the Elemis cleansing balm, it doesn’t have that strong scent or oily texture.
It’s more dry in texture, but still feels really nourishing without leaving a film on the skin.
They do a few different variations of this cleansing balm, but I opted for the ‘Nourishing’ one, which I think is geared towards drier skin types.
My combination/oily skin absolutely loves it, though!
Please don’t be put off by the price tag - this is the most magical foot cream I’ve ever tried that actually does what you would expect a premium foot cream to do.
I think the magic ingredient in here is urea, because the intense hydration it offers dry, parched feet is honestly out of this world.
It only has. a mild scent to it, due to the Tea Tree oil I think, and hallelujah because why does every foot cream smell like flipping peppermint?!
And a little bit goes SUCH a long way.
My first tub has lasted me ages so far, so despite the initial price tag, I actually think it offers pretty good value for money.
Definitely worth the splurge and a must-have to keep your feet looking their best in your sandals, flip flops and heels this summer.
I tried this SPF from my friend Jo on our trip to Manchester earlier on in the year and loved how it felt and looked on my skin.
I was already using a few others at the time, so I waited until I needed a little restock and added this onto my little (or rather big) Amazon haul.
The texture is the perfect mix of nourishing without being greasy and gives the skin, as it says, a gorgeous, gorgeous glow.
It’s one of those products where, when I came to the end of the tube, I was actually really sad.
I was desperately squeezing every single little bit out!
I’ve since moved onto other SPFs that I had in my stash as I need to make my way through them, but I really think I’ll be grabbing one again when the vault gets low.
A fantastically practical product if there ever was one.
This has been a staple in my handbag in this super-hot weather, and reapplying SPF throughout the day has never really been something I gave much thought to until recently.
I’ve realised, though, that sometimes that little extra bit of protection is needed when you’ve been sweating or rubbing your face throughout the day.
This formula doesn’t have the best smell, but it does the job and leaves a fairly nice sheen on the skin if you like that glass skin look.
I’m yet to try any other alternatives, but I’m definitely sold on the idea and the function behind SPF mists like this.
I’ll always be keeping one on deck during the summer months now!
Firstly, I’d just like to say: I HATE the way this concealer smells.
It seems to be a consistent thing with HNB products - their Silky Matte Weightless Foundation also has a really strong paint/chemical smell and it’s quite off-putting.
I’m all for fragrance-free make-up, and that is definitely my preference, but it does put a dampener on the user experience when the scent of the product is noticeably unpleasant.
Anyways… aside from that, I love LOVE love this concealer.
It’s exactly what it says on the tin - smoothing and kind of puts a filter over the skin.
It’s very blurring, super lightweight and perfect for the undereyes as it’s quite crease-proof and forgiving.
I’ve been loving this concealer for more natural make-up days.
It doesn’t really cut it for full glam, but when I want just a hint of coverage and some camouflage for dark circles to perk me up a little, I’ve been reaching for this a LOT.
And the F09 brush? An absolute dream for applying it as its the perfect shape to hug the under-eyes.
If you struggle with fine lines, dryness and concealer always caking and creasing under your eyes, definitely give this one a go!
When it comes to fragrance, I literally want to smell like a baked good.
A pastry. A cake. A cookie.
THAT is my scent profile.
So when I first smelt this, I naturally fell in love.
It’s SOOO yummy smelling.
Warm, delicious and just like you came straight outta the oven - ha!
If you like the Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 71 scent, you’ll absolutely love this.
To me, it’s the best scent Phlur does (but I also understand I am heavily biased with my personal taste).
I’ve probably said it before on here, but the Rhode hype is REALLY, REALLY, REALLY real.
There’s not been one product I’ve tried that I haven’t loved.
Miss Bieber, take a bow!
The formula of this is just kinda perfect: pigmented, easily blendable, a satin finish and long-wearing.
You can wear it sheer for an everyday, clean-girl look or build it up and layer it with a powder blush for a more intense vibe.
This is the only shade I’ve tried so far, but it’s a gorgeous burnt terracotta shade that’s extremely wearable, and I feel like it would suit a lot of different skin tones.
I am absolutely going to be getting more shades. I’ve had my eye on Sprinkle, Tan Line and Sleepy Girl for the longest, so I’m due to pick one of those up soon!
